Our existing investments and portfolio take precedence, but occasionally we hand-select a few early-stage or growth startups in which to take a more active role. Born and raised in the US, Jennifer had a career as an actress and a model in New York City. Jennifer graduated with a BA in International Relations from Brown University and received an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. A serial entrepreneur, she held management positions at companies and startups including Director of Business Development APAC for Rackspace (NYSE: RAX), Vice President of uBuyiBuy (NASDAQ: GRPN) and Vice President of BEECRAZY (ASX: EN88), and advisory including luxury jewelry brand Plukka (ASX: PKA). With startup exits under her belt, Jennifer continues to invest in, advise, and mentor startups as well as emerging investors and fund managers via NewChic Capital with recent exits including Sensei Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: SNSE) and Olive-X (NSX: OLX). An in-demand speaker and published writer and columnist, she has been featured and Interviewed on BBC, CNBC, SCMP, Tatler, and more. Jennifer also holds select performances as an award-winning classically trained pianist with a performance diploma from New England Conservatory of Music (Pre-college, Piano).

Vivian currently holds a senior position in a capital markets advisory firm that helps listed companies achieve and sustain fair valuation and strengthened brand recognition in the global financial markets. Vivian has extensive experience in the financial services industries. She previously worked at Infinity Group, a leading China and Israel focused private equity fund with over 1.5 billion USD AUM. She was responsible for a wide range of projects including investment analysis, deal sourcing, due diligence and investment monitoring. Prior to that, she was an equity trader for Asia-Pacific markets with Macquarie Group. Vivian graduated with a BA in Economics from Sun Yat-sen University and a BBA in Marketing from ESLSCA. She also holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Soumeya Benghanem is a Product Management executive with 20 years of experience in building software. She is currently a Product Management Practice Leader at Pivotal Labs, a Division of VMware. She has been the Chief Product Officer and Head of Product at startups in Financial Services and Healthcare. Anthony Wong is the co-founder of Orichal Partners, a Private Digital Asset Investment and Advisory Firm based in Hong Kong.
Anthony is an early bitcoin and ethereum investor; seeing the opportunity for the business to become institutionalised, Anthony founded Orichal Partners back in September 2017; its mission is to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the cryptocurrency market, providing a disciplinary approach in analyzing each blockchain project to find true value proposition for our stakeholders. Over the past 3.5 years Anthony have dived into different disciplines of the cryptocurrency markets, focusing on secondary markets trading – trend following, derivatives (futures and options), and funding markets (lending / borrowing on centralised and decentralised platforms).
Prior to Orichal Partners, Anthony spent 10 years as a Institutional Sales at JPMorgan, a global leader in financial services, covering a multitude of Markets Products and Solutions to clients across North Asia. Anthony spent the first 3 years covering Foreign Exchange products for JPMorgan Private Bank, facilitating flow and structured FX products for the firm’s premier high net worth investors. With the emergence of China internationalizing its currency, Anthony spent the next 4 years focusing on Chinese Reminbi (RMB) hedging solutions and investment products for bank clients situated in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Expanding its expertise in the currency space, Anthony spent his remaining tenure at JPMorgan heading the Hong Kong Bank Sales team, dedicating to offering cross asset solutions to institutional clients ranging from providing interbank fx and rates liquidity to balance sheet management. Anthony graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor’s Degree in the Honours Business Administration (HBA).
Dr. Tuan Q. Phan is an entrepreneur, board member, advisor, investor and consults industry leaders. As a professor of digital business at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Business School, he possesses deep expertise in Big Data, social media, marketing, retail, AI, Fintech, EdTech and digital economies, combined with computer science, economics, and statistics. His research has been published in leading scientific and management journals including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (PNAS) and Harvard Business School Publishing (HBSP). Dr. Phan has also taught at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Property and Education spanning across Asia and Europe. Outside of
building and investing in companies, Irene regularly contributes as a columnist
for a large media company in Hong Kong on U.K. Education, U.K. Property
and U.K. Lifestyle. She currently lives in London with her husband Kenneth
and two daughters.
